History
The Rawdia story began in the spring of 2012, when Fadia purchased a landmark health food store and juice bar located on Putul Zamfir Street in uptown Bucharest.
She started creating new recipes with a chef and eventually became the in-house nutritionist for the fast-growing eatery, who started in offering take away and delivery services to customers with food prepared to a maximum temperature of 40° C.
As her passion for her mission grew, so did the power as a team in the vegetarian movement. In its 7 year history, Rawdia evolved from a juice bar and take away and delivery vegan food, into a full service juice bar and vegan and raw vegan restaurant featuring a vegetarian menu of homemade soups, sandwiches, salads and entrees.
Customer demand overwhelmingly confirmed that Rawdia could make a difference in people’s lives by feeding them fresh, wholesome, vegetarian food. Fadia knew she had to expand, but how? She asked, and the universe answered: on Friday the 10th, 2015, Rawdia Brasov was on its way!
In 2016 , demand for growth called again, and Rawdia Sibiu was born. This once again filled a void in the market for the conscientious yet sophisticated eater. Rawdia has twice been rated as Romania’s #1 vegetarian restaurant, with a local and international reputation that has a regular clientele that includes neighborhood residents, celebrities, politicians, and corporate executives from around the world.
Since 2012, Rawdia has been serving a vegan menu composed of the freshest ingredients available and has been continually rated as one of the best vegan/vegetarian restaurants in the country by both traditional and holistic communities. “Love, the rest are ingredients” are the words that resume remarkably the Rawdia concept.
